ABOUT JULIE KARIC
Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience working with older adults. Julie’s work is compassionate, thoughtful, and tailored to each aging adult and their network of family and caregivers. The goal of any engagement is to provide the most positive, life-affirming and tailored plan for ensuring comfort, safety, and a full life experience.
Raised in Southern California, Julie received her BA in Psychology from UCLA and her MSW from USC. Beginning in 2007, Julie worked in the Senior Outreach Services (SOS)/ Private Care division of Jewish Family Service in Los Angeles. This unique opportunity allowed her to develop an expertise integral to understanding and resolving the many challenges faced by her aging clients. Julie’s extensive network of professional collaborations provides her clients with access to the very best in senior care and services.
Before establishing her private concierge care management practice in 2013, she worked in a variety of traditional social work settings, including hospitals, residential treatment facilities, and out-patient mental health clinics. The breadth of her professional experience includes direct service with children, teens, adults and families. Since 2016, Julie has served as the Eldercare Consultant for the Santa Monica Synagogue. She has additionally served as a field instructor for graduate social work students at Cal State Long Beach and USC.
